About Us

The Decolonial Regeneration (The DR) is a global learning and research incubator dedicated to democratising decolonial education. We offer a rigorous, low-barrier intellectual home where participants unlearn imperial paradigms of knowledge, engage with foundational and emerging decolonial perspectives, and cultivate regenerative spaces of relational ways of knowing/being. Through centring subaltern histories, relational cosmologies, and multispecies intimacies, we seek to co-create pluriversal futures in an era of colonial extractivism, majoritarian nationalism, and ecological crisis.

Across monthly virtual sessions, our transdisciplinary curriculum comprises four core modules and engages with over 90 global scholars across a range of interconnected topics, covering anti-/post-/de-colonial foundations, development politics, climate coloniality, technocolonialism, multispecies justice, pluriversal futures, and more. Our session architecture is interactive, designed to translate theory into applied research ethics that inform non-extractivist fieldwork, decolonial pedagogy, and relational care. To accommodate busy schedules, participants can join us for one module, two modules, or the full series.

We welcome students, researchers, educators, community organisers, journalists, cultural workers, civil society professionals, policy analysts, legal specialists, educational content creators, and lifelong learners from any walk of life into an inclusive learning community. No prior academic background required, just a commitment to stay curious and compassionate towards people and our planet, and a patient willingness to sit with (sometimes) difficult, layered readings.

Our full curriculum comprises:

  • 4modules
  • 22sessions
  • 90+scholars on the syllabus
  • 55direct engagement hours

    The Convenor

Even from scorched earth, new life emerges. In embracing stillness, we can listen to Her.

Regeneration, She teaches, rather than a simple reversal to what had been,is the opening of an infinite fieldof creative possibilities for what might become.

Both boundless and bound is She,Her dance, a reminder to reimagine our ways to be.She guides us to unlearn the illusion of separationand sings for the self to rediscover relation.

We are not apart from nature. We are a part of Her.
